Question 1

What does Etimad Software do?

Accepted Answer

We are a software development company based in Kabul, Afghanistan. We build ready-made management systems — for hospitals, laboratories, pharmacies, money exchangers, learning centers, and tailoring shops — and develop custom desktop, web, and mobile software for businesses and organizations.

Question 2

Where do you provide services?

Accepted Answer

We serve customers across all of Afghanistan. Installation and training are done on-site in major cities and remotely elsewhere. Ongoing support works everywhere by phone, WhatsApp, and secure remote connection.

Question 3

Do your systems work without internet?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this is a core design principle. All our desktop systems run entirely on your local network. Internet is optional and only used for cloud backups, SMS notifications, remote support, and updates.

Question 4

Can I try the software before buying?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can try our Windows programs free for 7 days from the Download Center, starting the first time you open them. We can also give a live online demonstration tailored to your business.

Question 5

Are the systems available in Dari and Pashto?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All our products support Dari, Pashto, and English interfaces, and printed documents (invoices, reports, receipts) can be produced in any of the three languages.

Question 6

Can you customize a product for our specific needs?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our products are configurable out of the box, and for deeper changes — custom reports, extra modules, integrations — our development team builds exactly what you need on top of the standard product.

Question 7

How much does your software cost?

Accepted Answer

Pricing depends on the product, edition, and number of workstations. Every purchase includes installation, training, and a support period. Contact our sales team for a quote — we respond within one business day.

Question 8

Are there monthly fees?

Accepted Answer

Our standard licenses are one-time purchases with an included support period. After that, an optional annual maintenance contract covers updates, support, and cloud backup. There are no surprise fees.

Question 9

What support do you provide after installation?

Accepted Answer

Every installation includes on-site staff training and a support period (6–12 months depending on edition). Support works by phone, WhatsApp, and remote connection. Most issues are resolved within hours.

Question 10

What happens to our data if our computer breaks?

Accepted Answer

All systems make automatic scheduled backups. With cloud backup enabled, an encrypted copy is stored off-site daily. On a replacement computer, we restore your complete system typically within an hour.

Question 11

Do you train new staff members later?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Maintenance contract customers get free re-training for new staff. We also provide video tutorials and printed quick-reference guides in local languages.

Question 12

How does a custom software project work?

Accepted Answer

We start with a free consultation to understand your workflow, then provide a written proposal with scope, timeline, and fixed price. Development is iterative — you see working software early and often — and delivery includes training, documentation, and a warranty period.

Question 13

How long does a custom project take?

Accepted Answer

Small systems take 4–8 weeks; larger projects like a custom ERP run 3–6 months with phased delivery, so you start using early modules while later ones are still in development.
