From Fabric to Delivery: The Order Workflow in Etimad Tailor
Create an order with measurements, assign it to a worker, track its status, and notify the customer at pickup time.
Taking the order
Select the customer (their saved measurements load automatically) or register a new one and measure once. Choose the garment style, attach fabric photos, set the delivery date, and record the advance payment. The printed receipt shows everything, including the balance due.
Assigning work
From the Orders board, assign the order to a worker. Each worker's queue and piece-rates are visible, so you can balance the load and know the labor cost per order.
Status tracking
Move orders through Cutting → Sewing → Ready → Delivered. The delivery calendar highlights everything due this week and flags anything at risk of missing its date.
Pickup and payment
When an order is marked Ready, the customer receives an SMS automatically. At pickup, collect the balance and mark Delivered — the worker's piece-rate is credited for weekly settlement.
