Installing Etimad HMS: Complete Setup Guide

Make sure your computer meets the minimum requirements: Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), 4 GB of RAM, and 2 GB of free disk space. For multi-computer setups, all workstations must be connected to the same local network.

Download the latest installer from the Download Center. If you received a license key from our sales team, keep it ready — you will enter it during the first run.

Double-click the downloaded EtimadHMS-Setup.exe file. If Windows SmartScreen appears, click 'More info' and then 'Run anyway' — the installer is digitally signed by Etimad Software.

Choose 'Server installation' on the main computer that will hold the database, or 'Workstation' on additional computers. The wizard installs everything needed, including the database engine, automatically.

Launch Etimad HMS from the desktop shortcut. Enter your license key when prompted, then set the administrator username and password.

The system opens with sample data so you can explore safely. When you are ready to start real operations, use Administration → Reset Sample Data.

On each workstation, choose 'Workstation' during installation and enter the server computer's name or IP address when asked. The wizard tests the connection before finishing.

If the connection fails, check that both computers are on the same network and that the server's firewall allows Etimad HMS (the installer configures this automatically in most cases).
